Since the cold started kicking in, mangoes have been a real challenge to get a hold of, so I picked up a pack of frozen mangoes from the supermarket yesterday. Although I do prefer fresh mangoes, sometimes there isn’t much of a choice, and these frozen ones were pretty damn good! This morning instead of my usual banana date smoothie, I decided to throw in some mango. Super easy to whip up and delicious!
Fresh Banana Mango Sorbet
5 frozen bananas
1c. Frozen mango pieces
Splash of non dairy milk (optional)
Throw all the ingredients into your food processor, blend until smooth and creamy (: add more or less milk to achieve your preferred consistency.
Top with you favourites- I used fresh banana slices, raspberries, more mango, green kiwifruit (tastes like home) and organic coconut chips.
